Dr. Ronen Harel from the Department of Business Administration of the Ben Gurion University of the Negev visited LBS from April 16 to April 20 as part of the Erasmus+ lecturer exchange program. The purpose of his visit was to shadow LBS lecturers and implement best practices in his home institution. During his stay, Dr. Harel had the opportunity to meet our staff and faculty, as well as attend the lectures in “Critical Thinking”, “Operations Management”, “Organizational Change”, “Managerial Accounting” and “Leadership Capabilities”. Moreover, in exclusive meetings with our Directors of BA and MA studies, our Executive Director and the LBS International and Research departments, he gained insights into the operations and daily work at LBS.

“It was a pleasure to spend the week at LBS. I liked very much the lectures I attended. I was impressed by your method of study regarding the group work in each lesson, as well as the level of involvement of students in the class – the lessons were at a fairly high interactive level. The interesting fact I discovered about LBS is the deep connection to the Jewish heritage and Israel. In light of my visits to LBS, and as a key takeaway from my exchange, I intend to improve the level of student involvement during my lessons at Ben Gurion University.”

Dr. Harel has completed his PhD studies in Management Sciences at Ben-Gurion University. His research focused on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Small Businesses. He serves as a member of the board of directors at several leading public Israeli corporations and, as a CEO of several companies in Israel, he offers over two decades of versatile management and business experience building and implementing new strategic plans and successfully managing their exit strategy. Dr. Harel holds a B.A. in Economics (Cum Laude), an M.B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy (Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University, a PhD from Ben-Gurion University and has completed the International Management Program at N.Y.U. School of Business Administration. Please click here for his full CV.
