On June 30, 2017, the Lauder Business School had the honor of welcoming H.E. Ambassador Talya Lador-Fresher, Israeli Ambassador to Austria, graduates’ families and friends as well as faculty and staff to the graduation ceremony acknowledging the achievements of our BA and MA graduates.
The ceremony started with a speech by the Executive Director, Mr. Alexander Zirkler, who congratulated the students on completing their studies and assured them that the value of their LBS degrees will increase in time “just like a good piece of art”. In continuation of the ceremony, H.E. Ambassador Talya Lador-Fresher delivered a speech reflecting on the current situation of Israel and wishing our graduates lots of success for the future.
The ceremony also celebrated the bestowal of Fachhochschule (FH) Professorships for two of our committed LBS lecturers, Prof. (FH) Dr. Karl Knezourek, MBA, and Prof. (FH) Dr. Marcel Landesmann. The Chairperson of the Council Prof. (FH) Dr. Edith Singer explained that the Council voted unanimously and congratulated both professors for their valuable and longstanding dedication to the Lauder Business School.
The Director of Bachelor’s studies, Prof. (FH) Mag. Julius Dem, MBA, addressed the graduates in a very inspiring and emotional speech, reminding the graduates to thank their parents for their unconditional love and support, as well as telling them that they are ready for the next step and the challenges of tomorrow. The concluding speech was given by the student representative Sagy Zilberschatz, who invited his classmates to take the “path of mastery of life” now.
We wish all our Graduates good luck and much success in the future!
