On December 1, 2016, Lauder Business School hosted a Young Israeli Leaders Delegation consisting of 30 participants working for various organizations in the public and private sector in Israel. The purpose of this visit was to introduce Lauder Business School to the leaders of tomorrow and to identify potential areas of cooperation. The delegation was accompanied by Mag. Ernst Aichinger, Envoy from the European and International Affairs Section, together with Ambassador Dr. Teresa Indjein and Mag. Dr. Markus Benesch from the Cultural and Integration Sections of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs, as well as Dr. Susanne Keppler-Schlesinger, the Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna.

The tour at Lauder Business School started with an introduction to the campus and its facilities by the Executive Director, Mr. Alexander Zirkler. The delegation then visited the festive Ball Room, where they could admire the beautiful baroque artwork and inner architecture. Here, the Director of Studies International Business Administration Prof. (FH) Mag. Julius Dem, MBA introduced the BA program activities, followed by Prof. (FH) Dr. Hanno Pöschl, MBA, who presented the International Management and Leadership and Banking, Finance and Compliance master programs. The delegation continued to the library, synagogue and other LBS premises, finalizing with Viennese Schnitzel at the LBS Kosher Mensa.

The visit to Lauder Business School was part of the anniversary program celebrating 60 years of diplomatic relations between Austria and Israel. In the context of this celebration the delegation of young Israeli leaders spent a week in Austria and participated in many activities and scheduled visits. In return, in May this year, a delegation of young Austrian leaders had visited Israel at the invitation of the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
