Contracts are an essential part of our everyday life, which underscores the important role of contract law within jurisprudence. Against this background, Prof. (FH) Dr. Armin Kammel, LL.M., MBA, who teaches several financial law courses in the Banking, Finance, and Compliance Program (BFC) at Lauder Business School, co-designed a new, innovative and practitioner-oriented book series on „Vertragsrecht und Vertragsgestaltung“(contract law and contract design).
This new book series was launched in 2016. The series, published with Linde Verlag in Vienna, will consist of approximately 50 volumes total, covering all aspects of Austrian contract law as well as unique introductions to the contract laws of many foreign jurisdictions including the CEE countries, the US, the UK, many Latin American countries and Israel. So far, the volumes on South Korea and Poland have already been published.
Each volume of the book series is designed to provide added value for practitioners by offering a clear and concise structure supported by concrete examples, templates, and draft clauses. This practitioner-oriented approach combined with the coverage of all business-related contractual aspects nicely ties into the various IML and BFC program components at LBS.
We are happy to inform you that the already published volumes of the book series are available in the LBS library and all forthcoming volumes will be added throughout the next months.
