Lauder Business School will host an exchange program for students attending the International Masters of Business Administration (IMBA) at Bar-Ilan University.

As a next step in the academic cooperation between Lauder Business School and Israel-based Bar-Ilan University, the exchange opportunities are further extended with Lauder Business School hosting courses for the IMBA students of Bar-Ilan University this summer.

During this year’s summer semester, students enrolled in the IMBA program at Bar-Ilan University wishing to have an international experience will have the choice to attend one or two courses offered by Lauder Business School as part of the academic cooperation agreement: a Management Consulting course and a Social Media Marketing course. The courses will be partially taught online between May and June, and will culminate with a one-week exchange visit to Vienna in July, on the historic campus of Lauder Business School.

The academic initiative focuses on providing students with the intellectual framework to understand global business trends and find creative and versatile solutions to real-life business scenarios. “Managers need to be able to face unpredictability daily and, most-importantly, to stay ahead of the trends. The two courses are tailored to cater to those needs and equip students with the theoretical foundations and practical knowledge to navigate the rapidly shifting business trends of the modern world,” says Prof. (FH) Mag. Julius Dem, MBA, Director of Studies for the International Business Administration Program at LBS.

In addition to the academic component, the program will contain a practical aspect and provide ample networking opportunities. During their visit between 10 July and 15 July, the students will have the chance to visit international companies in Vienna, to gain insight into their production and management processes.

“The companies which will open the doors to our students are state-of-the-art players in construction as well as coating and resins Industries. Students will be able to see first-hand how these key industry players manufacture their products,” explains Program Director for Master Studies, Prof. (FH) Dr. Tamás Csermely, MSc.

The academically enriching experience will close with a tour of Vienna’s cultural landmarks and shopping hotspots.
