Lauder Business School is reopening its Graduate Research Assistant Program (GRAP) for all our Masters’ students wishing to gain relevant research experience while pursuing their degree at LBS. Applications for the Graduate Research Assistant position 2024/2025 with Prof. Sandra Pauser are now open!
Started in 2017, the Graduate Research Assistant Program provides top Masters´ students the opportunity to work alongside select LBS lecturers on various academic projects, including research. The purpose of the GRA program is to encourage all students who are interested in continuing their education at a PhD level. While at LBS we strive to prepare our students for corporate and entrepreneurial careers, we emphasize research just as much, and the LBS GRA program will be a stepping stone for helping students interested in pursuing an academic career.
The activities performed by a graduate research assistant include performing supervised research, engaging in literature searches, performing data analysis, designing and preparing research experiments, and more.
All upcoming applications are to be sent to Dr. Sandra Pauser, MA (Email:sandra.pauser[at]lbs.ac.at). After a careful review of the applications, Dr. Pauser will create a shortlist together with the Director of Studies, Dr. Tamás Csermely, MSc.
Besides improving academic skills and developing close relationships with faculty, the Graduate Research assistantship comes with a 50% refund of the tuition fee for the semester!
It is essential to state that the Graduate Research Assistant Program does not imply that an employment relationship exists between the LBS and graduate students. Intellectual property rights issues arising through the Graduate Research Assistant Program are regulated through §5.3 of the Educational Training contract.
