Understanding research methods works best with a hands-on approach – therefore, Lauder Business School Master students not only learn the theory but get the opportunity to participate in a real-life research project within the framework of their course “Empirical Research Methods”.
For this year’s course, LBS Senior Lecturer for Research Methods, Dr. Verena Régent, found a particularly interesting partnership: Together with the Viennese organization “Social City Wien”, the Irish/American musician and artist Michael Patrick Kelly will create a #Peacebell for the city of Vienna. Based on different interviewing techniques and target group analysis under conceptualization and supervision of Dr. Régent, LBS Master students will be involved in determining a suitable location within the public urban space of Vienna for this inspiring work of art. To kick-off the collaboration, LBS students will be invited to the Austrian Parliament by Member of the Austrian Parliament Mag. Martin Engelberg, patron of the #Peacebell-project and Board Member of Social City Wien.
