In July 2015 a scientific committee conducted a full-day on-site evaluation of the Mobiliversity project. Prof. Dr. Klaus Beck, Chair of Business Education at the renowned Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, headed the evaluation committee.
As part of the ERASMUS+ staff mobility program, BFC faculty member Professor Dr. Armin Kammel spent several days in London conducting independent research at the Institute of Economic Affairs (iea).
Since the 2000s the smart city concept has gained considerable popularity among urban planners, policy-makers, researchers, civil society, and innovative entrepreneurs. It promotes an integrated approach which, thanks to the intelligent use of technology, will enhance both inclusion and competitiveness of urban agglomerations.
The Lisbon Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region is an international convention of the Council of Europe elaborated together with the UNESCO.
The mobility was part of LBS’s active engagement in the European Chapter of the MOC Network – the regional chapter founded by the Erasmus+ STT beneficiary in 2011.
