On June 29, 2017, the Lauder Business School organized the annual Get-together to celebrate the end of the academic year and the beginning of the summer holiday. We had the pleasure to welcome our students, faculty and staff in the Auditorium and the park for a delicious buffet, drinks and great music

On June 30, 2017, the Lauder Business School had the honor of welcoming H.E. Ambassador Talya Lador-Fresher, Israeli Ambassador to Austria, graduatesโ€™ families and friends as well as faculty and staff to the graduation ceremony acknowledging the achievements of our BA and MA graduates.

On March 22, LBS students participated in the Long Night of Companies 2017 career event. 40 companies took part in the event this year, opening their doors to interested students. Some of the prominent companies included: Accenture, Allianz, Bank Austria, Deloitte, Erste Group, E&Y, H&M, Lidl, Hofer, Nespresso, Nestle, pwc, REWE international, T-Mobile and many more.

Contracts are an essential part of our everyday life, which underscores the important role of contract law within jurisprudence. Against this background, Prof. (FH) Dr. Armin Kammel, LL.M., MBA, who teaches several financial law courses in the Banking, Finance, and Compliance Program (BFC) at Lauder Business School, co-designed a new, innovative and practitioner-oriented book series on โ€žVertragsrecht und Vertragsgestaltungโ€œ(contract law and contract design).

On Tuesday, March 21, IML 2016 class had a day dedicated to Design Thinking and New Product Development (NPD) as part of their Creativity and Innovation Course with Dr. Stephan Jung. During the session, students were encouraged to come up with original ideas to either create innovation or to focus on problem solving of a particular issue and thereby satisfy a certain need.

According the results of the Annual Mercer Quality of Life Survey, which compares 231 cities by evaluating various quality-of-life factors (including healthcare, education, infrastructure, housing and environment), Vienna maintained its top ranking in 2017.
