Lauder Business School Career Center is organizing various events, at the Schoolโs premises and at our partnersโ premises. The goal is to give our students an opportunity to meet the experts from the professional world, connect with potential future employers and learn more about the real-life business world. Berthold Baurek-Karlic is the founder and managing director of Venionaire Capital, which specializes in M&A and venture capital. The Venionaire Group also includes the software provider DEALMATRIX.
Furthermore, he is the founder and secretary general of the Business Angel Institute, board member of the European Super Angels Club, Homeppl, Flovtec, Unmanned Lifeย and chairman of the supervisory board of Blockpit.
He initiated the annual World Venture Forum in Kitzbรผhel, is an expert partner of various accelerators and consultants of various venture funds, as well as an external consultant in the EU programs Horizon2020ย and Innovation Radar.
In 2023, Berthold Baurek-Karlic was awarded the Austrian State Prize for Business Angel of the Year in recognition of his longstanding contributions to the startup ecosystem in Austria and his exemplary dedication to his portfolio companies.
