When the Microsoft building was redesigned in 2011 the offices were transformed into a totally new world of work with modern flexible rules of cooperation and communication. The students gained knowledge of the new architecture and the way a social enterprise functions. Demonstrations showed them how employees communicate with SharePoint, Yammer, Skype, and OneNote. The visit increased the students’ understanding as to why and how Microsoft became a Great Place to Work.

Microsoft has been represented in Austria since 1991. 340 employees work in the headquarters in Vienna today. Besides, there is an R&D subsidiary in Graz.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
