LBS is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine (UABS).
UABS is a state-owned higher educational institution, founded in 1996 and located in the city of Sumy, in the North-Eastern part of Ukraine. UABS has three faculties being the Faculty of Banking Technologies, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting and the Law Faculty. UABS is one of the top universities in Ukraine and cooperates with numerous educational institutions abroad, which is also reflected in its two international research centers being the “International Center for Banking and Corporate Governance” and the “International Center for Scientific Research on the Theory and Practice of Insurance”.
The signing of the MoU was initiated by Professor Dr. Armin Kammel, BFC Faculty Member at LBS who also serves as a frequent guest lecturer at UABS and actively supported by Professor Dr. Elisabeth Kuebler, Head of Research and International Relations at LBS. With the signing of this MoU, LBS and UABS agree to intensify their cooperation in the areas of research, know-how transfer and to promote scientific projects of mutual interest.

Having spent some time at UABS myself, I am pleased to have facilitated the signing of the MoU with LBS because I am convinced that it will lead to some fruitful and intensive collaboration between the two institutions.”
