Erasmus staff mobility (SMT)

June 30 – July 7, 2015

The mobility was part of LBS’s active engagement in the European Chapter of the MOC Network – the regional chapter founded by the Erasmus+ STT beneficiary in 2011. The overall objective of the mobility was to take part in international, policy-oriented discussions on competitiveness, with a focus on the IT sector. This goal was materialized through the presentation of a paper (Unlocking Fast Growth in Latin America: Technological Readiness and Policy-making) at the International Conference on Public Policy in Milan, followed by a discussion with faculty members and industry representatives.

Additionally, mobility activities included a faculty development workshop on Case Writing, offered to faculty colleagues of the receiving institution. As a result, both the sending and the receiving institutions intend to jointly develop case studies centered on EU-relevant managerial problems, to use in our teaching and training.

This mobility has been a valuable opportunity to cooperate on concrete activities, and pave the way for future collaboration to boost the internationalization, productivity and innovation of our teaching and research, especially as part of the Institute of Competitiveness (IoC) at LBS.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
