Erasmus Staff Mobility 15.03.- 02.04.2017
During the 2017 Erasmus+ staff mobility, Mag. Ron Slomovits visited the Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva, to participate in highly noteworthy lectures delivered by international staff.
This very mobility program was granted to encourage Austrian lecturers to exchange their knowledge and grasp the way international lecturers develop their course materials. It has led to adapting innovative ways of teaching in each owns field of expertise, in the case of Mag. Slomovits in the field of rating advisory and credit risk analysis.
Sharing international know-how on teaching methods and simultaneously adapting international techniques of transferring academic contents is essential, especially when it comes down to teaching the fundamentals of each field of expertise.
In the opinion of both the course participants and the representatives of the receiving institution, the Erasmus+ mobility program laid the foundation for many more bilateral projects to come. Lecturers may continue to benefit from adapting each-other´s state-of-the-art teaching techniques, in order to serve the main purpose, which is delivering high quality academic courses in the respective home-institution. This may contribute to encourage undergraduate and graduate students to participate in similar global mobility programs, which will open their horizons in indefinite ways.
